I've been using this magnetic swivel ball for my oneplus one which is the same size as the iphone plus sizes.

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Magne...236885018.html

they were on sale for $2 a while ago, now they are $4 which is pretty crazy with free shipping.

they are fantastic, I have them all over my house and it looks so badass just floating above the dash. easily the best and cheapest mount for this car and in general, couldn't recommend it more

Highly recommend http://www.bestbuy.com/site/scosche-...&skuId=9701232

Scosche magic mount. I had many different mounts. I tried the Kenu and returned it the next day. It only fits on your left side vent and not in the middle dash vent. Windshield mounts are way to busy and are a distractions. I hate clamps and is a hassle just trying to clamp your phone on to the mount or take it off to use practically.

The magic mount is the best. I literally place it on it and pick it up with ease at a stop light. I set it next to my Nav system.

Another vote for the Scosche mounts.

I've had mine for ~6 months and I'm generally not a fan of mounts that attach via adhesive, but it's held on with zero issues even during a hot Southern California summer.

Their is this one as well. It is more known in the off road community but is another excellent option.

I bought this case with magnetic air vent holder combo for my iPhone 6s+.
Pretty strong even though magnet is built inside the cover. Phone haven't fell off from the mount.

Can you share a picture showing the location of the mount?
