2.75 isn't bad, wouldn't want anything bigger for NA. I agree 3 would be better for FI but no use in buying it just incase you decide you might go FI later. Again these exhausts are cheap enough where it's not really a huge issue either way.

60mm is 2.36", same diameter as stock exhaust.

This particular one is 63mm, just under 2.5" which is better, though it's the exception not the rule. Almost all cheaper eBay exhausts are 60mm.

3" exhaust have been proven time and time again to make more power on NA cars than the 2.5's, fwiw.

I talked to the owner of Top Speed before and I was told they can make a bigger diameter exhaust for about the same price. I believe the price reflects the quantity ordered from the manufacture.

There's not as much demand for the 3" right now, however I have a prototype being customized in the works.

3" cat-back with quad tips

This this is the stainless version. If all goes well I'll have the titanium one fitted.

Oem hangers work fine. I've tried aftermarket ones and it made it out of alignment.

For their axelback exhaust from Top Speed,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/390766129372...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

if its 60mm piping, which is same as stock, then what is changed that makes it a deeper/louder tone compared to stock? just wondering.

Piping size typically only changes the volume. The muffler has the greatest effect on every audio aspect of a exhaust. Resonators handle drone. To some, cats are just a choke, but they do reduce volume.

It'll hold up like any other stainless exhaust. They've been around for a long time and the show room, office, and warehouse is down the street from me.

You can also check their feedback on eBay as well to see their reputation.

I would never put garbage parts on my car. I would suggest ceramic coating it if one were to drive it in snow/ salt as it is corrosive. The only bare exhaust material that can withstand it is titanium or inconnel. Which is what I have on the M3 but retail on it was 11k.
