All still rumors ... but this isn't a bad looking concept imho. Actually, it almost looks like a mini Rapide.

R32/R33/R34..S15..

I don't think those got watered down. Ultimately its made up anyway, so nothing to worry about.

If this were true, I can forsee one potential benefit of having a sedan with H6 as long as Subaru stamps one as well. Possibility of a factory turbo on a 2.8-3.3L H6? Could make for a very interesting aftermarket build with a strong enough block.

Wait what? S15 made a sedan? Just making sure we're on same page. We're talking bout Nissan Silvia S15 right? I know bout the Convertible... but never knew bout the Sedan.

Hm... I agree w H6, but I highly doubt on 2.8 Liters. Prob looking around 3~3.6 Liters

You didn't see any of the MR2 and Supras made into Sedans. From the markting standpoint, I see how they would introduce a sedan varient but I'm not for it. Might as well make a wagon model too!

Thanks but did you see S15 sedan in that site? iirc they made coupe & convertible only and Silvia series were only available in coupe, hatch & convertible. Yeah other Nissan FR cars did make sedans, but not Silvia.

when i lived in new zealand i had a R33 Skyline 4-dr 2.5GTS. good car, def doesnt take away from the coupe or the GTR. sometimes the more pedestrian variants are a necessary evil so you can get the badass one you want.

i dont wish for an H6 sedan, H4 turbo is just fine w/ me. Weight balance becomes an issue when you cram a 6 where 6 doesnt belong, like the newest Acura TSX.

the sedan pic is definately shopped.
rear doors have identical reflections as the front. doesn't match the rear 1/4 panel at all.
also it's unlikely you'd have the forward protruding metal in front of the rear door hinges (at the bottom) unless the hinges were in front of the front door's catch.
the ae86 never had a 4door version. that was a different platform called ae82

That's not true. Some ppl who have done H6 swap into their Impreza stated that taking off AC and relocate the battery will fix that problem

Quote:
The only downside to an EG33 swap is weight. as it's a bit heavier than an EJ 4-cyl. but ditching the A/C and relocating the battery pretty much eliminates that
While EZ30D & R is shorter & a lot lighter than EG33, so that fix that problem.

Chaser, Altezza and Aristo were as close to Supra sedans as Toyota ever did. If the difference between the FT/R-86/S and the sedan is that big, then no need to worry.

I would welcome it, actually. (If I could've found a 1JZGTE Chaser for the price of my Legacy, I would've bought it for my daily as a nice match for the Supra.)

As for someone saying Toyota owns most of Subaru I think it's actually less than 20%.

Chaser are awesome (specially last gen). Mark series are awesome too... but recent Mark series been ugly (like Mark X).

Really? Well, I guess it's just me then. While I prefer the JZX100 and 110 variants the most, I think the Mark X is pretty nice. Almost thought of it as the Altezza's big brother.

But to be fair, I've never seen one in person sooo maybe it has some ugly dimensions I don't know about.

I tried searching for strawberry face sedans but no dice.

They had the similar powerplants but their bodylines were completely different.

With that being said, if they used the FT-86/FR-S engine n chasis and developed a completely different sedan, that would be dope!
