Is Toyota extra care the one that covers all maintenance? Mine was 75months, 75,000 miles. I might be confusing it with the extra warranty? (which was 6years/100K miles I believe). I got the maintenance one for 30 more a month (total cost of ~1700, 1800 with interest). Most likely I will take it off though as I might do my own maintenance when possible; it is able to be cancelled up to two years/24,000 miles.

5. and this was the main reason. If I decide to sell the car down the road before the warranty expires I'll have 2 options, those being sell the warranty to the buyer of the car, or sell what I have not used back to the dealer. If you have 500 days left on the warranty, that works out to about $500 the dealer will give you for the early termination.

Sorry for the long winded response but I hope it helps you with your decision. BTW all scions should come with toyota care. Hope your dealer gave you the 2 years.

For 1150 is an amazing price. They quoted be above 1500.

I'm planning on going FI so no extended warranty for me lol but $1150 is a really good price for the piece of mind.
