Drove my FRS today. Was cut off on two separate occasions by turkey vultures. Yes, literal turkey vultures. One flew out from a trail then proceeded to lead my car down the road because it's fat arse was too heavy to climb above my cars height.

Then I had to narrowly avoid being run into by 2 kids going down a hill on skateboards because they seemed dubious about being able to avoid a stationary target.

Did not crash.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!

Today is Friday, the evening when we keep the three granddaughters for the evening, so their parents can have an evening of adult time.

So, since it being a warm, sunny, afternoon, I decided to go up to the BBQ place and get an assortment of BBQ stuff. Now, what can happen within 2 miles … ?? So, I took the FR-S.

I was exiting our subdivision on a street that "T"s onto a tree lined, curvy two lane road with a double yellow line and a 25 MPH speed limit. Now, isn't possible to see around the curves coming from either direction ….. so, one has to be pretty quick once you get onto the road. Sure as hell, here comes this jerk in a non descript car, from my right at a high rate of speed. Now, I move our briskly, but not too fast because my oil is still cold. The jerk starts to pass, but backs off, because it is a narrow, curvy two lane road with a double yellow line.

Now, with this jerk about a foot off my rear bumper we come to the end of the road, out onto a 4 four lane highway. I was hoping the jerk was going to turn the same direction as I was, but nooooo …. the jerk stuck his/her arm out the window and flipped me off and went the other way. Now THAT always pisses me off …… but I let it slide. I did not crash.

So, I calmly move on up the highway to a major intersection that crosses a major street and once it crosses the highway it "T"s onto the street that goes around the shopping center. Now this BIG black jacked up pickup truck is acting like he was going to push me into the intersection. Even after the lights changed I eased out into the intersection (to allow all the red light runners go past). I reckon that was too slow for big balls in the truck behind me so he laid on his horn.

At that moment, it flashed in my mind that I WAS driving the car with my .45 ACP, snugged in the pouch behind the passenger seat. However, I proceeded across the intersection, in the left lane, to where the street "T"s. Two lanes (which have the right of way); the left lane (which I am in, turns Left, the other lane where a Mini Van is turns RIGHT.

Pretty simple huh …….. well a mini van in the right lane, crosses over in front of me and turns left , and just missed me. At that moment, big balls, in his jacked up truck goes sideways behind us. Nobody crashed.

Then, the cute little Italian girl, that works carry out and wears tight jeans and always gives me a big hug and compliments me on my FR-S ….. was NOT working tonight....

So, I drove home without any close calls and we all enjoyed the BBQ.

I drove my FRS 300 miles today on nearly bald tires without incident. Only got annoyed at some asshat once, which has got to be some kind of record. Did not crash.

One of these days a truck driver followed my gf when she was driving her wrx to a parking lot and blocked her exit. She had moved to the right and passed him because he was just a tad too slow on turning, but she wasn't trying to cut him off. Apparently his d1ck was too big to be passed by a blonde girl on a wrx so he chased her down to the parking lot and cut her off. It was night so I guess he didn't see me in the passenger seat. So he sat in his car for 5 seconds before I got tired of it and opened my door. I had my right foot out when he finally decided to move. Guess his d1ck wasn't that big after all.

Drove my car to work today.

Got a rock chip in my windshield while following a dump truck. I also got hit by a sweet potato.

Today has been a weird day. Somehow I managed not to crash.
