Odd question: License plate light?

Does anyone know if the FR-S comes with a little light above the license plate? I'm not exactly sure why the thought came into my head, probably the civic driving down the road with really demented HIDs that blinded me had a different color license plate light.

Lit license plates have been mandatory for decades, so yeah it was an odd question.

I don't think I've ever seen a modern car without the little lights above the license plate. How else are the police going to run your tags if they can't see them at night I'm also part of the group that will be switching them out with LEDs.

I hear they've been mandated for a few years now, so I'm gonna guess yes. Don't quote me on that though.

You don't even have the car yet, quit ricing it out. And no, it's most certainly not legal.
