Mine was supposed to be here the 9th, they surprised me when they called this morning and said it was here.

Ordered and von# 9/22/16, Vin# 12/19/16, scheduled to arrive 1/9/17, got there today.

Yes, I heard the gun metal rims were only in Japan. I was surprised but I really like them they look really good in person.

I am a little upset. I bought the color I did because of the black rims. I did not like silver with the DGM color, it was dated a bit I felt. Black was the color I wanted.

conflicted now. I wonder if everyone with DGM is getting gunmetal. It is a much different look. Gunmetal gray is like neither old nor new. It is... I have no idea what it is, there are no cars using that to my knowledge. Maybe black is on the way out. It had a long run of like 15 years.

My mini has silver panasport styled rims, but the car has a lot of chrome on it, so it matches nice.

HOwever, looking at it, it does look great! I think i am just shocked that it does not come as we ordered it.

I look forward to seeing mine in person. Mine is scheduled for delivery sometime before I die I am guessing.

Love the Gunmetal A LOT on the DGM, but have to wonder if the switch will be universal. Also, I am planning a Yellow which would really seem odd with all of the other exterior black features. Maybe only the Yellows now get the black wheels?

Gun metal is slowly on the rise and looks good with most of the colours. It does away some of the empty abyss look that black can cause on darker cars.
Read you contract closely. I bet there is a "some items may be different from described" clause or something similar there someplace. That is the risk that is taken when ordering something before anybody has had one delivered. Who knows though maybe the rest will have black and that one was just a screw up on the line. Believe me it happens more than you would want to know.
