Remote Control Cars

Anyone here into rc cars? Used to own a t-maxx 2.5 but got out of it a while ago. Kinda thinking about getting back into it.

I was the King of California racing the 1/5 scale Baja 5T a few years ago. Finished 5th at the Nationals that same year.

Before that, from 2000 to 2006 I raced 1/8 scale nitro buggies and truggies. In 05 I was ranked 20th in the USA in Pro Truggy.

I got burned out and quit.

I still have my race-ready Baja 5T (built to the hilt) I'd sell cheap, with spare engines, radios, and enough parts to build another complete car.

Not using it any more, it's collecting dust. I have over 5G's into it but would sell it for next to nothing.

I've been into nitro R/C before I could even drive. Right now I'm rebuilding a Traxxas TC3 with the .18 engine. I geared it a little taller so it should do about 70mph at the top of second gear. My buddy has a REVO 3.3.. That thing is just insane.

I have this one, in Firestorm. The 1st86 group got one as part of the program. Sadly, still in the box, I really need to take it out and play with it!

Garage
just found this the other day, looks a bit better than the Tamiya chassis
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...FR_S_RTR_.html

used to locally race 1/10 & 1/8 4wd buggies, like 8 years ago, till the tracks closed. Been playing w/ quadcopters lately, but the itch for a car keeps returning. Just don't have the time or $$ I used to sink into the buggies.
