Ugly? They remind me of how the STI tips look which look very nice. For 25 bucks these are a deal and wonder if the resonators make any difference in sound. I would love to buy these as temps until I can get a better exhaust system. The JDM 86 tips cost 200 bucks and these look better IMO for a fraction of the cost.

Perrin tips cost 200 bucks also and other tips from other vendors cost just as much which would be better off investing that money into a cat back exhaust. Hell for 200 bucks I would rather just buy a Megan system as there cat backs cost around that much for a little more until I get a cat back from a reputable company.

Did the resonators quiet the exhaust though? Or there was no difference...

I just got mine, test fitted them...

Honestly? I don't like them. And one of the bolts was stripped already from the factory so I couldn't use one of the tips (I can fix it, just don't want to).

They are a bitch to install correctly, and end up not aligning due to the installation process and length of them. The Forester XT exhaust tip option I came across is 10x easier and IMO looks more like a factory part (because it is!).

I will hold on to these for later use in case I have some sort of muffler made at some point, but maybe not.
