But that's the best time to start going to the track. Get a good baseline so when you start swapping suspension parts you'll be able to feel how badly you fucked up the car.

Again people never read the thread. This is about modding the FRS to be as good as the stock evo or better than the evo on the track. Ofc when you mod both its going to come down to how each one is built and driver.

Two very different cars. I think it's driver's preference to be honest. I feel like Takumi taking turns driving the WRX and AE86 haha.
I've had both a decently modded frs and now an evo x mr. Once I get a couple track days under my belt in the evo I'll be doing a full comparison review. |

But saying the Evo is a $40k car is like saying the FR-S/BRZ is a $30k car. Sure, you can spec it that way, but both start at well below that. So keep it fair, the base Evo X GSR is something like $35k these days, if MSRP is something that is going to be brought up.
Let's be honest... you are asking if the lighter car would beat the heavier car if you modded it to have equal whp while also upgrading the suspension and tires? Maybe. But now you're opening a whole other can of worms. What kind of suspension? And what about the brakes? A ton goes into this type of debate. Even two different bone stock cars driven by the same driver can have different results on different tracks, as far as which one ends up being faster. |

What's is all of this tomfoolery!? Just to clarify, this is the first time in my life that I have ever written (or typed in this matter) the word "tomfoolery". If my spelling is off, I'm sorry! Please don't quote and reply me to death!

Perhaps, but I don't know the f16 wins on aerodynamics, unless one has the rocket bunny wing of course

Would an 86 beat a F-22 Raptor if it had fucking wings and 70 thousand pounds of thrust? Sure, why the fuck not?
