Is it the first ever FR with a boxer
Simple question, Is the FR-S the first ever front engine rear wheel drive production car? I can't think of any other examples...

I dug deep, and I've got Ichitaka beat.
1910 Jowett 6hp. (1914 model show) From 1910 to 1954, FR boxers were pretty much all they did. Here's the FT's grand-daddy, the 1950 Jowett Jupiter: And for weirdness' sake the 1959 DAF 600, first production car with a CVT was also an FR boxer. |
