Yea teaching is hard I've known people starting out without full time being a supply teacher for years going from school to school annually.

But at least they can't outsource public school teachers for now right (technology permitting)?

It's hilarious how my company is trying to laid off half the IT staff in 24 months and justifying it with this "follow the sun" staffing model (outsourcing half to monkeys overseas), making night shift a thing of the past (yea right only if nothing ever blows up like really, didn't occur to management that most critical changes are actually done after business hours).

I am the youngest of the baby boomers which means I missed out on all the good stuff and still get blamed for all the bad. in reality my situation is more like a Gen X one than a baby boomer one. I am sort of a Baby Xer.

I'm in the same boat: Baby boomers between 1946 and 1964. Right.

Depends upon location, time when the ranges were posted, which publication you're reading, and what generation the author wants to be a member of.

Case in point: Depending upon what you read, Millennials can start anywhere from 1979 - 1984.

A lesson many of us young'uns would do well to learn. I'm pretty slow on the uptake sometimes.

Yep. It isn't an exact science. And generally means nothing but stereotypes based on 10% of the population of each group anyway. I Apparently missed the almost free education, super cheap housing, walk into a place and start a top level job that day, and all the other things that baby boomers are said to have received for nothing. Shit, I didn't even get to help ruin the economy.
