Started reading a book titled "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck".

Not even ten pages in, and I'm looking at the way I personally judge things like success, comfort, etc. and the book has turned those thoughts on their heads.

Time to stop keeping up with the Jones' and just do my own thing from here on out.

It talks about things like how when you look at yourself in the mirror, and tell yourself all these positive things, its actually backfiring on you. You needing to tell yourself you're handsome, for example, is just highlighting that you likely aren't handsome at all. Instead, use no motivation, and just go about your day.

As you age the concept of inclusion becomes less and less important as you are liberated by financial independence and simply not giving a fuck due to less energy.

For example, a child would find it the utmost importance to be accepted by all the other kids in the school playground, yet proceed to tell the same bunch to fuck off a few decades later and do whatever the finances allow. Got more rudimentary needs to worry about.

the cafeteria is one thing. I'm talking about what they give you when you're a patient. I was in for a week once with flu and double pneumonia(damn near died) and I maintain that if I had real food I would have been out in 3 days.
