I feel like i'll probably pick everything up again pretty quickly and will probably register for hpde2/blue depending on the org.

I just hope my next instructor has a stronger stomach than my last. I had to pit off in the back straight of VIR for him to exit the vehicle and puke (driving a stage 2 04 STi at the time with muffler delete.)

I will probably end up showing up for this track daze event. Hope to see you guys there.

To the post above, if you are unsure, go with their blue group. And ask for an instructor for at least a session. The advanced group at a track daze event is not for those that have any doubt. Its 400+ HP cars and flat out (ignore the pun). At a track like VIR with a car this HP level expect to have your arm glued out the window.

I've verified that there is an E85 station in Petersburg (right off 95 too). I plan to fill up there and bring some gas cans. I have one 5 gallon can but I might need to purchase another 4-5 to last for two days at the track.

Sounds like a nice event. I wasn't aware of it.

However I already have plans to attend a 3 day HPDE at VIR August 30th - Sept 1st. 3 days on the track for $405 seems like a great deal to me.

If anyone else wants to attend I'd love to have some 86 company!

Hey WolfpackS2k...I'm in Durham, and have been thinking about doing my first track event at VIR. Who is sponsoring the event you're headed to? How do I sign up?

If you don't mind stopping in Alexandria, I have 3x 5 gallon VP jugs you could borrow. As long as i get them back i don't mind. Just let me know ahead of time, and i'll empty the remaining CAM2 into the car so they are empty.
