Japan Racing wheels

Soo i just stumbled across Japan Racing wheels. My friend told me about them. I saw somewhere that it was only like 200 a wheel for jr5s and now I'm thinking there replicas or fakes. Can someone tell if this brand of wheels are authentic or not? The wheels I was looking at first are 1900 for all 4 and it just seems kind of fishy finding other just as nice wheels for 1000$ cheaper.

A quite common brand in Europe, or at least on JDM cars in Sweden. I know quite a lot of people who run them, and haven't heard of anyone having issues running them.
I have a set of 18x8.5 +40 JR-3:s with 225/40-18 T1R's in the garage, will be fitted to the car next month.

The only bad thing is if ordering a JR wheel with specific offset/PCD, the wheel will be drilled and grinded from a blank wheel with a low offset. The lug nut holes and the "back side" of the wheel (dunno what its called in English) will therefore not be painted and may corrode if not kept clean.

Authentic? Fake? A wheel can only be "fake" if they are branded as another brand. JR Wheels are "authentic" as in they're what they say the are - wheels. They are however not original designs in any way. And they're made to be cheap.

Now, do they "work" as wheels? Yes, they do. I know plenty of people who use them in drifting for example, with 700+ hp cars, and they put more stress on them than you could on your daily car, so they at least do their job. Just don't expect more than cheap wheels with replicated designs.
