OFT error, help needed

I got an error shows an error occured while writing to the ECU Please try again. I think it may cause dislodging of the OBD2 cable. My car cannot start right now and there is no (*) on my current file. I think the ECU file may broken so OFT cannot identify the current file in ECU. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks!

check the obd connection, some cars have intermittent obd connections.

try putting some forwards or backwards pressure on obd connector on car bay use rubber band to get a connection, then look at fixing obd socket.

make sure cable is plugged in propertly at oft end as well.

make sure car battery is charged and the your turning ingnition full on (do not start) when flashing not just accessory position

Thanks man! I'll check them tomorrow. But I think there is no problem with obd connector because all other functions are worked. Do you think there have some other problems cause the OFT cannot flash the ECU?

First thing that happens with reflash is original rom in car erased then new one flashed. if process interrupted then you end up with no usable rom in ecu and car wont start.

Try reflashing your stock rom back to car.

oft will be interactive if it get power from car via obd port but logging and flashing will not work if rom is incomplete or no data communication with ecu due mayne the data pins not making good contact in obd connector but power pins ok

Yes, I just did launch control before. I changed UEL header today, and then I try to flashing oft stg2 uel 93oct file into the ECU. OFT shows I complete flashing but I can't start my car. After that I try to reflashing to the stock file, then OFT shows error.

Do I need to use other device to reflashing stock rom or I can just use my OFT to reflashing?

You use OFT, it should've read the stock one at the beginning

If you have used incorrect def file to edit it likely written a corrupt rom to ecu.

Use the oft to write bact the Original File to the ecu the one in the top slot.

if it still wont write try this

Switch off ignition
Remove positive battery terminal
With battery disconnected, depress brake pedal to bleed off and redidual power
Replace battery terminal
Flash your original tune to car on first turn on of ignition

Ie plug in oft turn ignition on go to write , wtite original tune without turning ignition off even if oft asks you to.

After that i think you got big problem, contact the oft guys.

File in my computer, I'll post later. I think is green and lc works fine before. I just try to flashed original stg2 uel 93oct file that I download from openflash website, I didn't edit anything in that stg2 file.
