I must have missed that, I thought it already WAS a Supra/IS300 differential, the guts are interchangeable from what I hear, the biggest difference is gearing and the case.

Our diff shares a casing with the IS300 and a bunch of other Toyota/Lexus product over the years. The bearings are different yet the ring and pinion are interchangeable. MK3 Supra guts are also interchangeable but the case is way different. Anyway about it the pinions are stout and the ring is a good size at 200mm. The Supra pinion bearing is larger yet still fits in the BRZ case, so thats a nice strength upgrade.

Engine will be delivered tomorrow, Unfortunately they are delivering it with a semi, so I had to have it shipped to a friends shop last minute. Going to try and get the transmission shipped there as well, or try my work. When we moved offices, they kind of cracked down on getting personal packages delivered to workplace.

Edit: Order for Transmission sent. Went with the "Wide" Gear ratio. Custom Lined Slave/throw out bearing also ordered. Currently just waiting on mounts/driveshaft and MRS to release the CAN translator.

Throwing around the idea for Twin Turbos later on down the road when/if I get the need for more power. That or a procharger set-up. If I go that route I think 700-800 is all I will ever need. I imagine it would be a nightmare to even get that to hook.

Wide ratio is the 2.97 first gear and 50% over drive right? Why did you go that route?

That motor you ordered is 11.8 to 1 compression right? I'm thinking to order mine with a lower compression ratio just for that reason.

1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th
2.66 1.78 1.30 1.00 0.74 0.50 (wide ratio)
2.97 2.10 1.46 1.00 0.80 0.63 (short ratio)

Just because they recommended it more for street driven DD type cars. Should help with mileage on the highway.

Compression is 11.25:1

Your ratios don't match up with the ratios listed on Tremecs site

http://www.tremec.com/menu.php?m=104

Maybe they offer something different than what's listed on the site for the magnum t56?

2.66 makes more sense to me anyway for this little car.

Oh yeah, not sure where I got 11.8 from...been looking at too many engines.

Even at 11.25, that isn't too high for forced induction?

You are looking at the wrong transmission. They are using the Magnum XL

What a tease. Got to watch the crate with the engine in it be taken off the truck and set down outside ready for me to pick it up later. Didn't have the time to peak inside.

I'll get a video of the opening of that. My Vibrant Fuel Hose was delivered as well. Getting real close to everything being here.

I switched cameras for the majority of pictures and forgot to grab the camera on my way to work. So these are what I got with my phone. I'll Work on the video tonight as well.

Few issues popped up. I believe it was suppose to come with a flywheel included which was not anywhere in packaging. Not too big a deal as I have a lightweight one. Water pump and crank pulley were also missing, though I only assumed it came with those. So fluidamper and water pump will be ordered today.

Looks good! I was wondering about what accessories it came with. What are you going to do for a pulley system? Needs to run a/c, water pump and alternator only right?

Thought about going with an electric water pump?

Whatever accessory drive Vorshlag comes up with. That or talk to dirty dingo about what they can offer. You are correct, no PS needed. That is what makes this kind of a pain, very slim options when no PS is needed. The price of electric water pump makes it quite unattractive at this point. Maybe in the future, not sure I see a reason though.
