You've convinced yourself it does nothing so don't use it. Anyone who actually tries it will tell you otherwise.

30 seconds of reading the website told me all I needed to know about it. There is more bullshit on that site than in a farmers field. The "tests" are just about as valuable.

Well, now @Somerandom18, I see where ol @Tcoat has looked into this compound, while I took my loooooong Sunday on a rainy day nap.

First off, you know very little about what I know and don't know. However, as a chemist and having a 60 year working knowledge of the internal combustion engine, I think I will look into this application for this compound.

Secondly, I don't usually try to start arguments ....... however, I have finished a few.

Later.

@Somerandom18 and @Tcoat , I've completed my on-line literature research of this product called Cerma STM-3.

Executive summary:

Tcoat is right ....... it's mostly snake oil, with some modern day smoke and mirrors thrown in.

I figured where they got the name from; who came up with the "chemistry" language; who is the marketing "genius" and who is accounting for the money they are scraping in.

References are from:

Google

MSDS

LinkedIn

Wikipedia

What chemistry is this product based on?

"Silicon carbide (SiC), also known as carborundum /kɑːrbəˈrʌndəm/, is a compound of silicon and carbon with chemical formula SiC. It occurs in nature as the extremely rare mineral moissanite. Silicon carbide powder has been mass-produced since 1893 for use as an abrasive."

Now, I just know you folks are interested if finding out more about this product and the organization that is "marketing" it, so, I have deal for you.

For a mere $96.00 (plus handling and shipping) I will send you the results of my research. The results will be shipped on quality paper in an unbreakable, waterproof plastic tube, with an air tight, sealed cap.
