Not irony. Is cause and effect. Gas is cheap because people are not going anywhere.

How much?

My employment was deemed "Essential" by the Florida governor today.

I'm so special!

It was a bundle of 8 giant rolls (2 ply) at Rite Aid.

I paid cash, but don't remember the price (I was just glad to get it).

I didn't get a receipt because I was in a hurry to get it hidden in my trunk and get home before I was TP jacked -

Myself and my wife started having symptoms (and 4 of our co-workers at the hospital). We were instructed to go to COVID testing at the hospital where we both work. Took about 45 minutes, 30 minutes of that lined up outside. Really don’t know who thought it was a good idea to have sick people lined up outside in the cold for an hour (the line grew exponentially after we arrived). Anyway apparently the results will come in 48 hours and then we’ll know whether to go to work on Monday.

Every year at this time, for my entire life, I get some nasty allergies. The worst symptom is a nice dry cough. I make people very nervous even though I lack any other symptoms.

We shut down all our Canadian plants but guess who is one of about 4 people that still has to go to work through this?

I hear that. I've just recovered (pretty much) from my annual spring bout with
bronchitis. I just go to the walk in clinic and tell the PA what I need (an antibiotic just in case it goes into pneumonia, and some cough medicine with codeine in it), to suppress my cough.

I could cut out the middle man, if my girl friend at the pharmacy would just give me that stuff over the counter - which she won't -

She is still working. Her boss thinks it is a hoax started by lazy people wanting to be off work. She is pretty safe at work though since nobody is buying RVs and the place is deserted.
