There's nothing at all near my work, I think I'd have to go up north of Irvine or (god forbid) east to Temecula.

Is this gauge or calculated? Stock size tires? This seems wildly impossible unless you believe your dashboard.

Hand calculated on stock size Altimax Arctics and with the new 245/40r17 Summers it looks like it will be about the same. I drive all highway. The only 30mph road is my own and that is about 1/2 long, I get to the end and it is 40+ from there on out to everywhere else I drive.

No... I bought mine halfway through August and have just shy of 12k. I love every single mile though and I have found enough turns to make it enjoyable. The exit/entrance ramps by work are simply fantastic though. Tight sweeping turns with elevation change. They really let you use the grip and work a smooth transition.

Yeah, mine tanks a bit getting up there in speed but I have been an efficient fast driver for years. That is one thing driving a Jeep teaches you because it is so damn expensive.

so i just finished my tank of e85. I got 288 miles and filled up with 11.926gallons which nets me around 24.14mpg. e85 was 3.71 and 93 was 3.96. gallon in new rochelle. I drove about 50/50 city/highway and did a few redline runs trying to record some logs. So it seems to me that having a flexfuel kit is netting me better gas mileage on e85 and i feel safer having a flexfuel kit in the car.

Damn...I usually get about 19-20mpg on E85. Then again, I only get 24-26mpg on 91. Two thirds of my commute is freeway, but the other third is lots of stop lights. And on the freeway here, if you go slow enough to get good fuel economy, you'll get run over.
