I'm a noob, and this probably has been answered before but would 18x9 with 35 offset and an inch drop be smart? and what size tires would be good?

18x9.5 et35 squared.

What tire sizes should I run? Also would like to squared tires also for rotation purposes.

I do want a slight stretch for looks since it'll be a show car. On the fitment calculator it's showing that I'll be perfect with 235/40 front and rear. My buddy recommended 225/40 but the calculator is showing too much stretch for my taste.

Car is currently dropped on eibach sportline.

Thanks in advance.

If you plan on doing coils 225/40 is the way to go

Looks like they come in 18x9.5 5x100 with a 35 offset. That will fit with some camber up front if you are lowered

Yep, no issues provided you have a bit of camber which you should already have due to the 1" drop. -2.0 is ideal, a bit more (over 2.5) and it may be too close to the strut. Closer to -1.5 camber and it will start poking out but shouldn't rub.

Good tire size to run would be 245/35R18, matches OEM diameter bang-on.

I've been running this setup for a year and a half, now with 255/35R18.

My sign below shows my setup on my 245/35 Contis.

Awesome thanks a lot guys. Just purchased them. All black gloss with gold rivets.
Did a little stretch for the tire.

Some of it is basic math, knowledge about the car and what sizes and offsets work well and what doesn't.

I could use some help figuring this out if anyone's got a little time.. Thanks!
How about mine? Anyone know anything? Don't really want to buy tires that won't work/ need to know if I should just sell them

Could you post some pictures of your car? I'd really like to see the setup before I commit to the specs.

You won't have that poke until you add spacers. You may need 3-5mm spacers up front since you're on stock suspension and 0 camber, rears should be okay though.

Best tire is a 245/35R18 so you minimize any rub from the poke and proper OEM diameter.

Ideally that wheel size would be better with a 255 or 265 wide tire, but don't think you'll be able to run that wide on stock suspension, it will be too close.
So you'll have a bit of stretch with 245's but not too much. Kinda like my sig below.

I'm looking at a set of 57DR gram lights, but I'm wondering if 18 x9.5 it too wide? With a 38mm offset. I don't know too much about the fitment for my frs. It's lowered with H and R super sport springs.. Any help would be appreciated!
