Exclamation Agency power cold air intake

Just recently purchased my 86 and I already got a uel header and looking for further mods. I saw the new agency power cold air intake. Did anyone purchase it yet? If so is it any good? I heard that agency power is banned from this website so I’m a little skeptical on purchasing it. It looks like a really good design. Did you feel a power bump? I wanna know before buying it.

Welcome to ye ol forum -

Most folks feel an aftermarket CIA on this car is a waste of money. Just adding a free flow filter (like K&N) seems to add a bit of performance.

the oem design is already a cold air intake, and there aren't any snaking pipes that allow the aftermarket to create 15-20 HP gains like some vehicles. most aftermarket designs claim around a 2-5 hp increase, which is still firmly in the 'take my money butt dyno increase' realm.

if you only had $300, it would be better served with a tune then the intake.
