I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to ask, but has anybody with a 2015 BRZ Limited replaced their springs with the RCE Yellows. Was hoping for somebody to chime in about how ride was compared to stock since there was supposed to be a suspension change for the 2015 MY

@csgmike what type of upgraded springs do you recommend on stock suspension, with rs3s size 225 17 45, Vortech stock pulley, my home track is willow springs international raceway, two track days so far..

The stock setup feels like lots of body roll now

I am also running the raceseng camber plates.

Thank you!

Omg. I just 'read' all 110 pages of this thread today. It took a long time. I'd like to say thank you to @CSG Mike, @Racecomp Engineering, and @7thgear for the responses, suggestions, and advice. I don't know how you guys do it. The number of times I read different people ask the same question that has already been asked and answered in one form or another is ridiculous. As mentioned, you guys appear to have patience in spades. I'm sure I'll get around to asking you some of the same questions some day, just for reassurance like many people do, but not today.

Actually, I do have a question @Racecomp Engineering & @CSG Mike. Have you guys gotten your hands on a stock MY15 BRZ to take a look at the rear spring rates and put the shocks on a dyno to see if there are any differences from the MY13 & MY14?

We haven't measured them, but there's not a *significant* difference that would warrant possibly swapping suspensions between different year BRZ/FRSs.

What coilovers should I buy? I have $1000 to spend.

I'm not a suspension expert. Im not even a novice. But the questions you would need to answer for @Racecomp Engineering or @CSG Mike would be the followings:

1) what are your goals for the car? What are you trying to correct/improve (looks or performance)?
2) what kind of driving do you do/planning on doing? Just daily driving? Spirited driving? Canyons? AutoX? HPDE? Track?
3) what is your current wheel and tire setup (details is size/brand)?
4) for your budget, why are you thinking coils vs a quality lowing spring and quality shock that will perform better than an entry level coilover?
5) how are you planning on addressing camber (front & rear)? Going too low and not having a solution for excessive rear camber alone could have your car handling with less agility than stock.

Ahahaha... Glad to hear that you were just kidding. My brain was focused on F1 this morning when I read your post. I won't lie, my initial thought when I saw that you asked me that question was "wtf really?" Lol

I agree with you that those guys are A+

Agreed with Mike.

Spring rates are the same, shocks are very close.

I apologize if this has been asked already, but which aftermarket shocks should i pair with the RCE yellows that i already have?
My FRS is a daily driver with canyon runs every warm month and 2-3 HPDEs a year. Wheels are 17X7 Kosei (14lbs) with Michelin PSS 215/45-17. I plan to achieve 190-200 lbs weight reduction on the car (currently at -135lbs). I guess my choices are Koni complete struts, Bilstein B6 and B8.
Thanks in advance...

Are new end links required for sway bars? I'm planning on purchasing 21mm front and 17mm rear solid sway bars.

Thanks!

I would choose Bilstein B6. Koni Yellow a very close second and I might choose them if I autocrossed heavily.
