I wonder if the plugs are already there on the FR-S harness or if you would have to do a fair amount of harnessing / tapping?

Also, does anyone know if the OEM GT86 / BRZ fogs come on automatically with the headlights? I would ideally prefer that they be selectable with a switch on the dash. You don't always want your fogs on, and sometimes you want them without your main beams. Is that possible or am I looking at a fairly custom pile of work?

Thanks

Nice find!! The fog light is THE MOST EXPENSIVE parts for the fog light package from Toyota. The price of the pair of the Subaru fog light above are way below the cost of the Toyota 86 fog light that we can get from Japan. (Can't even buy one side.)

I can get the fog light bezels from Japan as well as the steering wheel stalk with fog light on/off switch. You guys can go with the full oem look.
Or
The easiest way custom switch for fog light on/off.

I am in.. SpecPer mentioned they are $15 or so for each side though..

Nigel, can you get us the price of the steering column stalk?

If anyone can organize a group buy for the subaru glass fogs, that will be awesome!!

Yeah I'm only interested in the Bezels and maybe the Subaru glass lamps. Depends on how much though, they probably don't cost much in Japan.

Toyota 86 Steering wheel stalk with fog light on/off picture

$95 for the steering wheel stalk.

BTW, if anyone are in SoCal and worry about the install, we have a preferred installer in SoCal South El Monte area that can do it.

He is well known on Lexus and Toyota forums. He does the exact same upgrade for the 2013 Lexus GS350 F-Sport.

The Lexus GS350 F-Sport do NOT come with pre-wire like the Scion FR-S.

Most of the Lexus owner went with the FULL OEM look and installed the steering wheel stalk with no problem.

If you guys need that, let me know.

Edit:

Updated purchase link for the bezels and steering wheel stalk. (2-4 weeks wait time, only 2 sets in stock as of now.)

So if I have a FR-S and buy the steering wheel stalk then I will have automatic headlights? I saw the Auto switch and also the fog light switch on it....if so I'm buying it!!! My last car had auto headlights and the little things like that make a big difference to me and is worth the $$$.
