Need advice on minor damage to FR-S trim
Well, I put my FR-S in the weeds today by the side of the road. Going a bit too fast into a tight right hand curve and then goosed it too much in 2nd coming out. The back end kicked out to my left and suddenly I was on the right shoulder in a wooded area. I stopped just short of a little sapling in the middle of my forward path which would surely have dented the hell out of my front end.
Anyway, there was some minor damage; the right rear fender (above the wheel) took a nice ding from a broken off tree branch and the right side mirror got folded back. In the process, the glass broke. However, the mirror apparatus is completely functional. Just no glass now. Also, somewhere along the way I lost the right fog lamp cutout. It could have been a lot worse. On to my question: Has anyone ever done a repair on the FR-S side view mirror? It seems that it would be fairly easy; just buy a mirror from Toyota/Scion and replace it. Anything here that is not obvious? I.E., does the mirror come only with the entire mechanism attached? Also, I assume that the plastic insert for the fog light space just snaps in? I may leave the dent on the right fender for a little while (it's right near the gas flap). That way, every time I fill up it will remind me that I'm not Lewis Hamilton or Sebastian Vettel.

OK. Thanks for the "help"; I guess no one can answer the question. You really need a picture of a side view mirror?

OK, I'll play along. Attached is a picture of said mirror. Now, can anyone answer my original question about replacing the glass?
