Your answer to his question could be misleading to a clueless person. Wider tires&rims don't give you more grip on their own. There are enough people out there that think that wider rubber = larger contact patch, no need to spread that misconception further.
Your answer needs clarification: If one wants to go through corners faster - one needs softer rubber, and then you'd want wider tires to make softer rubber last longer when cornering. And then you need wider rims to hold that wider rubber. |

Does anyone know what that black steel (?) cover on the bottom of the car is? It's got the slits presumably for transmission cooling, and it covers only one side of the car, not the other...

Do you guys think a 26" mountain bike will fit in the back trunk of the FRS with the back seats down?
And I'm glad that changing the time on the car clock should be fairly easy hence the "M" and "H" buttons. |

That black piece and the mostly flat pieces in front of it are parts of the undertray, or at least a partial undertray. It's for aero. The otherside is already at approximately the same level and relative flat.
