download from here

http://www.openflashtablet.com/downloads/

if still no go ring the openflash guys

Has anyone heard about OFT compatibility with the MT 2017 86/BRZ yet?

Any word if Openflash needs access to new 2017 86/BRZ to pull ROMs?

I'm just curious- has anyone tried this? What if you load a UEL stage 2 tune when you have a EL header? Does it mess with the fuel trims, AFR, screw up the exhaust cam timing or anything? Does it sound different, different torque curve?

If the ecu hardware is same, which is very likely then no problem, just pull the rom with oft send it to oft guys and they can sort out a definition and tune.

The difference between el and uel tunes is primarily the cam timing tables. each is optimised for best flow with each type of header. its unlikely to blow up if you use the wrong tune but it will be less efficient, no you wont get boxer rumble by simply running the uel tune thats a function of the header. It will sound slightly different arround 4 k though

how much do you actually have to change yourself when using oft? I don't know anything about tuning and I'm about to get the sad turbo kit and probably going to use oft for tuning. I would like launch control and all those features but it seems like a lot of it needs to be done yourself on your own computer and I'm worried I'm going to mess something up.

The manuals have enough updated components that the car may need to be re-tuned. Wouldn't expect ROMs for them super quick.

as long as you can download tune files and load them to oft, pretty easy you will be fine.

if you get custom tuning you use oft to log then send file back to oft guys, they send you revised tune.

you dont need to tune yourself but you can if you want to.

OK I understood the logging and sending it back part for custom tuning. I was talking to someone who made it seem like a lot of it was done by you on your own computer like traction control laugh control and what ever else. Thanks for the info

yeah you could use romraider (tune editor) to alter those parameters but if your getting custom tune done, which all sbd kits will need just ask the tuner to set those parameters for you if you don't want to do it yourself
