It's kinda crazy how my 2013 Scion FR-S with <2K miles has a huge rattle issue.
Coming from a tC (first gen) owner, I've ridden in my share of Subaru's and the rattles in them could put me to sleep compared to the ones in the tC. I was getting the notorious hatch rattle and the sunroof rattle well before 2000 miles, and had the most annoying one in the passenger door for close to a year. I wouldn't take in to the dealership solely for the fact that every time I've ever done that, it comes back with more and different rattles than I had to begin with!

how sensitive the inside of the doors are, if my foot rubs on it it leaves a mark. Also how easy the paint is to scratch. I know opti-coat would fix that but I need to save some money to spend.

My 1st Gen tC wasn't overly rattly, at least not compared to the MX-3. That little sucker rattled like a maraca and I loved it because of it. At 80+ mph it sounded like it was going to fall apart.

Is it the plastic piece or the painted piece?

You always get a fun car with Subaru, but that comes at a price. Rattling interior and shitty paint.

Sadly these are the truths we have to live with. Thank god I am hard of hearing

1. I wish on the AT transmission the UP shift and DOWN shift was reversed. It should be down shift when moving the stick forwards and upshift when moving the stick backward.
2.The little cubby in the center console should have a some sort of a lid cover. My e46 BMW had a euro tray with a sliding cover (someone should make it for the FR-S/BR-Z)http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Euro-Sto...vxp=mtr&_uhb=1
3. Needs more torque
4. Blind spots

That's about it for now:/

I hate the Climate control system. When I have AC off, fan 1, coldest setting, the air still blows out very warm.

The reverse gear on the left side instead of being on the far right side.

The paint for this car is the worst paint ive ever dealt with or seen. I scratches and chips like no paint ive seen before.

I plan on keeping this car for a while so maybe i need to start a fund under my mattress to get this car repainted a few years down the line

Don't know if anyone else mentioned it or has noticed it, but I constantly have a little triangle section of fog on my back window right above the 3rd brake light. Doesn't matter temperature, a/c on/off, windows up/down...anything. It's just weird lol!
