Kudos to Toyota of Dallas for not having a stupid markup. I bought my Tundra there, and I can say from experience that they have a pretty reasonable service department as well.

Heck, I may still go there for tires once I get my BRZ, and their "Buy 3 get 1 for $1" sale hits again, even though I live 3 hours away.

Nice pics!!

I really like what Juanito has done with the front bumper..
is that paint or a partial black wrap???

Hmmm I think if he 'flowed' the lights down to the bottom underside of the bumper as well, that would look very much similar to the TRD front.

HA! that was me (in the blue coupe)...I guess i should have figured out who was who before i showed up.

In any case, i was able to meet a couple of folks (guy with the Lotus and FRS Danny and couple of others) and both guys seemed to be great guys.

Had a chance to actually talk with Danny, and i'm glad that he was able to buy the car. It definitely sounds like he's going to drive the car like it was meant to be driven! No more AWD and German Pigs for you! We'll have to do some spirited driving one of these days!

I was there too. I think I saw you (with the DSLR camera) but I don't know who's who. I stopped asking random people if they're in FT86 club after 3 fails LOL. Nice supra. I left early though, had to go to another event.

+1 on Toyota of Dallas. I used to go there for car service when I still had a Toyota. I avoid and would NEVER go back to Toyota of IRVING though, nor buy any Toyota/Scion in general, for life, because of Toyota of IRVING.

That's why I pre-ordered BRZ. Thanks Toyota of Dallas for the T-Shirt though.

So I dropped by my neighborhood Toyota dealer today (Toyota of Lewisville) to see the FRS they got.

It was orange, manual and available.

I asked if they sell for MSRP, the salesguy stopped for a moment then said they sell for $5,000 above MSRP. I asked if it's a joke, he said "they have one available now~ (with intonation)". I turned away and left.

The hype on these cars is terrible it makes me just wanna buy the new 3-series. I have an upcoming test drive of their 2.0T manual w/ sports package. If it has enough torque for DD, which I know the FRS/BRZ doesn't, then I'm just gonna cancel my BRZ pre-order even if they "promised" to sell me MSRP.

Oh, btw, I didn't even bother to ask if I could test-drive the FRS. Not worth it.

I was planning on test driving that car there but they refuse to email me back. That plus a 5K markup means they are definitely not getting my business!

I'm still on the BRZ side, but if I find the right FRS in my lap, I might snatch it up.

Keep in mind, I'm still planning on waiting a year or so...

Yep same here. I will like the FRS if I see that the simple mods like the JDM style headlights are accessible to us here in the US.

Hows the hunt for the Exige going?
