We published this dyno chart with the release of the V3 so everyone could see the v3 Flash Editor calibration results on each fuel (91, 93, E85). The HKS Flash Editor is the only device used for tuning. And our FR-S was tested on a average DynoJet 248x here in Metro Detroit (not known for producing "glory" numbers but also not known as a "heartbreaker"). The exhaust manifold, cat-back, fuel pump, injectors and spark plugs were changed as necessary to compliment the requirements of the Flash Editor calibrations. Because I've been around forums long enough to know that chassis dyno numbers are only good for opening cans of worms, I drove our FR-S down to our Pro-Dealer, Pure Tuning who has an AWD Mustang "hearbreaker" so I could see what it put down on that. 320 whp on a DynoJet + 297 whp on a Mustang - I was impressed. Minus the Mustang Dyno chart, the DynoJet chart with all 3 Flash Editor calibrations and fuels is available here: http://www.hksusa.com/gt-supercharge...brz-2013-2014/ Please let me know if anyone needs anything additional to officially add the v3 to the comparison. I frequent the HKS S/C owners thread, the V3 thread, and I reply to pm's if anyone ever has any questions about the v3 kit or anything HKS related. |

Hi guys,
As some of you will be aware I'm building a crazy track car and retaining the FA20. I have a GTX3071R but am now thinking of going for a centrifugal supercharger so I can build a neater, lighter exhaust manifold, get the engine even lower and further back, (I have dry sump), and end up with an all round cooler engine bay. I'm sorry, the answer is probably here somewhere, but I thought I'd ask rather than spend hours trolling through posts... On a fully forged Motor running 10.5 :1 cr, no di and fuelling to suit, what is the highest output possible from the readily available solutions out there. What does the curve look like? I have MoTeC so tuning is not an issue. I mean, what will the HKS give with no restrictor? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hello Nige
best output I've seen from an unrestricted HKS is about 350bhp on pump fuel I'm sure someone else will be along in a mo to say they can get 400+..doubtless on E85 which we struggle to get in the UK I'm still unsure why you would delete the GDi but then its your project which I'm following with interest |

I have a 2017 86 Toyota stick. And was thinking about the Jackson racing kit installed by them. Has any one read or done performance nnumbers on this set up? Dino charts and horsepower / torque numbers are great but I'd like to know in real world driving what the differences on a similar car to mine.
Thanks , Ron . |

Absolutely love this comparison! Is there any possibility of someone adding in the Edelbrock numbers/curves to this!?!

Someone probably asked this, but any way to add the Edelbrock kit into the mix - would be great to see
