It's definitely louder than stock, but I got used to having more noise at low RPM (have had the TRD + catless header for almost a year). The Q300 is pretty much silent unless your foot is on the gas. The TRD is loud when you let off, and I think that's the noise I miss.

Very interested .. I work in New London but live in Rhode Island so if we can arrange to meet up I'd probably take it contingent upon the tips. Are they stainless or burnt?

Did you try using a resonated front pipe with the TRD?
I just got the TRD and still have the rest of the parts stock. I can already notice very minor drone on the highway so I am scared of what will happen after installing the catless header and high flow front pipe. I read that a resonated or even dual resonated front pipe helps a lot with that.

Like I said, will upload pics tonight as soon as I get home and it's off the car. I understand I can't sell it before that and won't try to.

The catback has Stainless tips.

Do you know who makes a resonated/double resonated front pipe?

HKS has a dual resonated front pipe.

JDL's Ultra Quiet front Pipe has a high flow cat and a resonator. Nameless also has a resonated down pipe option.
