Did you know? The first use of tanks in combat was by the British at the Battle of the Somme in 1916.

For what it's worth, silver 17's are out of stock for the immediate future. Sorry. The other colors are in stock.

I thought long and hard about a set of track wheels.

I wanted something light-weight, not too much $$$, and it needed to fit with my brakes and fenders.

RPF1 are popular, but their 17x9 +45 (or something like that offset) didn't fit the Essex BBK I will use. 17x9.5 +38 did, but I was worried about fender rubbing in the rear.

I also though about a few other wheels, like Kosei, but say too many pics of them cracking.

Heck, even the RPF1s seem to bend very easy.

I looked long and hard to find someone that broke or bent the Mach V Awesome wheel, and I couldn't find anyone. Besides, they were a bit cheaper.

Thanks for the reply, @LittleBlueGT.

@enjoi23, we have a LOT of track and auto-x customers using these wheels, and have heard no complaints. Here are some action shots...

Kerbs!

For anyone looking at this now, I just bought a set of these wheels with Direzza ZIIs in 245/40R17 that do in fact rub on the spring (running Swift Spec Rs) with the camber bolt maxed out and the remaining camber from camber plates. Will have to order small spacers, which I hope wont cause rubbing on the fender.

Hi Dan,

is there any news regarding a 17x7.5 or 17x8 version? Is there a chance that they will come out or the BBK / standard brake spacing issue is a no-go?

Thanks,
GDD
