this is all well and good but the photo released doesnt look like a real car. It looks like a rendering. I'll wait to see more actual photos before I cast a judgement.

Assuming this is more or less the production version, I'm thrilled they managed to keep the headlights so close to concept.

I think this is a real car...this close to the show, they'll have the concept ready at least on the exterior.

I think the car looks bigger because the picture was taken from a little bit higher angle than the original FT concept was in that comparison 'chop. That said, the car will be a little larger due to all the safety features.

Looks really good though!!

The grill looks like a fake just stuck in the opening to hide detail

Also, ground clearance has been increased quite a bit... hello aftermarket springs.

Here's hoping they managed to keep it close to the original. Now that Geneva is going to have the Subaru concept and the Toyota 'not quite production version' I'm REALLY excited.

The grill is irrelevant because it will removed to show our cool FMICs like the Gazoo concept. If someone with PS skills would be so kind as to shoop this on the new image, that would be awesome.

Anyway I hope they stay as close to the concept as possible with the production. Honda's production version of the CR-Z is a tragedy compared to the concept. I will be heartbroken if Toyota wimps out like that.

Agreed, I'll wait for pictures. Initial impression is that it is too busy compared to the previous version, and it is missing the really smooth curvy lines that I loved.

Front looks a little less aggressive. I'll be happy as long as they keep it close to the concept and I reserve my judgment for full pics.
