I didn't read all 11 pages but it is the most Pikachu car I have ever seen. So, it's an electric Pokemon. I wonder if the Pokemon HP is the same as the engine HP.

PS- I like it. I respect that Toyota is trying to deliver on their previous plans to produce a sporty compact RWD car for less than the FR-S.

I will predict that if this does come to fruition and things go well, the next step will be an actual BMW Z4 equivalent to follow.

Definitely. It already has a roof that does not provide much structural rigidity.

Haha. I was thinking the same thing. Kind of like those children's seats at the back of the Tesla Model S.

A few things:

The bulge on the hood means there is an inline engine in there that meets Euro pedestrian crash safety.

That means they used the Miata platform which should have the front Double Wishbone Suspension. But it doesn't, therefore it is a shorter FR-S platform?

I wonder if the LSD will come standard.

Either way love this car already. Please bring to Canada.

Yes please.

I have nothing against Scion, but I completely disagree with Toyota's decision to market the 86 under Scion when a large selling factor and point of the car is to go back to Toyota's roots.

Confirmed to be an new chassis that is all Toyota developed (not collaboration with Mazda and also not a cut down 86).

I could understand the very broad answers in the Q&A but it seems way more production-like then concept-like.

Is there any clear pictures showing how much room the rear seats have?

I know beauty is subjective but it never ceases to amaze me that they somehow always manage to design uglier and uglier cars. Is there some insider competition going on to see who can develop the ugliest car that people will still buy?

Can't we just teach dumbass europeans to not walk in front of moving vehicles?

I would gladly trade a few stumbling drunks for cars with sleek profiles.
