Wait until the tires regain grip out of a corner (even with TC on) until you use the boost. I also did mine in automatic, gives me more time to finesse the corner. With traction control off it's basically impossible.

With the genesis, cut the corner as much as possible. It's a big boat and scrubs wide but if you cut the corner close, it'll scrub onto the limit of the opposite rumble strip, and you'll go fast.

Edit: just realized I'm living under a rock and the genesis challenge is long gone lol. Well the Amuse one was annoying too, I don't like tracks of that type, it's like borderline NASCAR, but yet to get gold in that I think
I was contemplating running the Valkyrie in auto, just less things to think about.

The Amuse 370 was not too hard to gold. First corner run high and cut down late to give yourself as wide as possible entry into T2, the left kink. Brake just enough to flick the car in and go into 4th. Run a widening line into T3 to maximize exit speed. Last turn I think I braked at the second to last marker, square it off with a late apex. I can actually remember the whole run it only being 4 corners

honestly I may have gotten gold, I find it hard to remember these days

I literally just sign in when a new event drops and ignore it the next few days until the next one comes out

I can't even remember what medal I got for the Amuse. I just found it extremely frustrating for some reason.

Hmm, maybe I'll try Valkyrie again. I've been doing my attempts with TC disabled. I'm deep into Silver but not Gold.

Hopefully no one posts a faster lap time for the current Gr3 TT. I don't think I can go faster in the R34 GT500. lol

Booted up the PS5 for the first time in months.

Scape mode so good I spend half the time with that. Much work to do with racing, so rusty.

So did you get it done?

I didn't. Can't recall if I forgot or what lol. I also almost forgot to do the week one Porsche Challenge. Oops. I did it, but wasn't able to devote much time so I'm not particularly proud of the time I posted.

True, but people can still sign up for the Cup. 3 races left.

The new Daily Race at La Sarthe looks like fun. Might wear that one out this week!

Angry

The latest Daily Race C is FANTASTIC! Gr1 at La Sarthe for a 45 minute 12 lap race. Tire strategy is necessary as both RS and RM tires are required to be used. You really have to play with brake bias to make a one stop work.

So naturally after 1 day of this race PD says it was a mistake and changed the race length to 6 laps. (didn't change any other settings). Tire strategy doesn't exist now, no brake bias fiddling required. So great to see that one of PD's greatest online races to date was a MISTAKE and that they ruined it, instead of letting it be.

I would love to play online but ever since someone hacked into my PSN account and used the stored credit card to buy $500 worth of games, I just don't have confidence. Basically just do the weekly time trial challenges and that's it. I got the money back of course but they said "one time courtesy refund", hinting that next time I'll be shit outta luck basically.

Can set up a 2 step verification, iirc. That way any purchases would have to be authorized by you.

I didn't get to do the first Porsche Challenge. I really wanted to do that one as I was already driving the 917k at Sarthe and enjoying it.

I wish at least one daily race every week was a longer one. I think you would see less punting too since it isn't such a rush to get passes done.
