Videos soon. Stock + nameless track pipe + Tomei EL Header.
Could you get a vid of start-up and revving pleeeease?
I can't choose between this Tomei EL and the P&L EL.
If the Tomei EL has a bit of rumble I don't want.

Are you buying a header for sound alone? The two headers give quite different torque curves. Having said that there is no dyno with the Tomei EL tuned around yet but I'd suggest it is similar to the HKS torque curve.

I don't recall seeing any (3rd party) dyno charts for the UEL as well....or have I missed it somewhere?

Not for sound alone but that does play a big part in my decision. I'll probably be running a catted front pipe and might want catted headers as well to keep the exhaust note civilized.
If I could get the uel torque but the el sound that would be awesome.
I really hate the boxer rumble... Sounds like my supra running on 5 cylinders lol.

Plus I'll likely not be getting tuned for a while cuz I don't wanna risk my warranty.

Shorter runners like on the P&L and the JDL EL headers tend to creat a lump of torque where the dip was when tuned. Without a tune they shorten the dip rather than eliminating it.

I just got my Tomei UEL Header installed this afternoon. It's being paired with my M7 T-Titan Cat back, rest is stock- Tomei UEL Header -> OEM overpipe -> OEM Front Pipe -> M7 T-Titan Cat back. First impressions: RUMBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Second Impressions: LOUD AF (for me). Third Impressions: HEART EYES HEART EYES HEART EYESZZ!
It sounds amazing below 3k; extremely rumbly and growly (those aren't real adjectives). Once above 3k, it's rumble mixed with rasp territory. It's not a bad rasp like what you're used to hearing from fart canned civics; it's a good rasp- think straight pipe M3/M5/M6 rasp. I personally dislike the rasp but I'm going to keep my cat back 'cause it's the cat back that I wanted ever since I first heard it. With my setup, there is absolutely no drone whatsoever, anywhere in the RPM range. It's really daily drive-able. It's tame but once wide open throttle is activated, #GG (LOUD).

quick vid after install

The HKS was used as the benchmark for the development of the Tomei EL header so it should perform similarly.

I dont know how a post that quotes two other posts can be too short, but this sentence should fix that.

I am going out on a limb here, but I am not that impressed by it. It seems like over priced China crap...

It's not an issue of what you're quoting or if you put an image in regards to minimum length... You have to physically type something for it to register. It only counts things that aren't quotes or an image

a bit of smoke on first few runs and still a bit of a smell, but I hear that's normal.
What set up are you running? Sounds pretty clean
