good pizza is probably banned there because an ingredient in it causes cancer or polar bears to die.

Either that, or that it's not fair for some people to have good pizza while others suffer with bad pizza or no pizza, so they're currently legislating a way for ALL people to ALWAYS have good pizza, regardless of their ability to pay for it.

They just increased the gas tax, meant to improve roads, but there is a provision in it that allows them to divert funds to other causes in an emergency. As we all know, universal access to good pizza regardless of an individuals ability to pay for it is an inalienable right and therefore lack of free good pizza is in fact an emergency, so the funds will be used for this purpose. The choice of who will make this pizza will be chosen entirely from a board of elected officials who have never eaten pizza before in their life from a selection of pizza making (shell) businesses owned by family members of high ranking elected officials who have never made pizza before and have no intention of actually making pizza.



Citizens will still be allowed to purchase pizza on the private market, but private pizza purchases will require a background check, 30 day waiting period, and the pizza will be required to include a technological safety feature which has not been nor will ever be capable of invention.
