If using sliding rails it helps if you tighten down one rail at a time - like tighten the front inside mounting point, then slide the seat back and forth, then tighten the rear inside mounting point. Slide the seat back and forth to settle the slides and repeat process for the outside rail. Slides will be smooth and easy operating yet rock solid when locked. Hardest part of the whole process is getting the seat in and out of the car without messing up the door sill rubber and plastic...
thanks for the tip!

Oh and Takata 4 point harness with TrackArt harness bar.

Looks great! you don't happen to have the part numbers for the seat rails? I might have a pair of CS I can use but need rails. Cheers.

Bride Zeta III, Buddy Club rails, seat's centered, sits pretty much on the ground, I'd say almost 2-3 inches lower than stock.

Steering wheel is a suede Sabelt SW-633 with a Splash (Works Bell) short hub, it's actually a little too close to the signal/wiper stalks right now so I have a spacer on order until I'm ready for a quick release.

Shifter is a TWM Competition shifter, no problems with hitting the dash, but I've slipped once and punched my radio before hahaha.

@Krovi are they really centered? Which L brackets are you using? From my experience with buddy club brackets and recaro spg and pole positions; they sit to the left of center. This has been the case on multiple cars I have sat in.

I thought I posted here but I guess I didn't.

Did these Evo 8/9 seats back in 2014. I want to say around March.

Either way they have the pressure sensor in the seat for awhile but not where it could work properly as I would have to take the seats apart and I do not want to cause issues. Now it's just under the seat.

Resistor for the Airbag Light, everything works great.

I have to say seeing someone else's work with the Recaro's out of the RX8 I might give that a shot next as a friend really would like these.

Guess we will see what happens.

First two pictures are from when we installed them, after that I have not really taken many pictures of the interior so I used the most recent with my wife in the drivers seat.

Right now , I have the stock seat belt buckle flip over and it clear everything .
I want the OEM belt to hold better and plan to redo it again soon . I am thinking let the seat belt go through both side tunnel , use the rear seat belt buckle (lot shorter) , and do a resistor on the buckle wire(someone mention just unplug it ?) to trick it .
So on street I fasten the seat belt from top , and I can plug the belt in through side tunnel on track for better holding .
If anyone know a better solution ? If not , I just try ...

I got the seat belt buckle done , now the seat belt can go through both the side hole , find my confidence on hard braking again , no more slip out from the seat .

It take some time to figure it out what to do , I check both front rear seat buckle and both of them are tall and bent , not idea fit . So I have one of the rear cut and weld , make it straight and short .Don't need resistor for seat belt chime , take the wire/harness out of the buckle and unplug it from the connector under the seat .
