No. Jeremy bashes on how ugly Porsches cars are and not the driving experience. I feel the same way he does about the styling.

What other reason would you choose one or the other? There looks to be less difference between the two than camaro/firebird so I think most people will make the decision based on badge. I know I'm more interested in driving the brand that is so well known for WRC compared to the brand that is known for eco-bland. The rumors that the Subaru will have just a slightly tighter suspension doesn't hurt either but I wouldn't expect that to matter much.

For some buyers the Subaru/Toyota choice will come down to this: "Who has one in stock, dammit!?"

I think for most buyers, it will be whoever has it cheapest.

for the UK i suspect the 5 year warranty of the Toyota vs 3 year of the Subaru may have an impact. If they were the same I would have had my deposit on the Scoobie instead.

I went ahead and put my deposit on the Subaru because Scion has said their strategy for rolling out new cars is to start on the coasts and work inward. Plus I like the more mature look of the Subaru.

Hoping that Scion keeps the 'world' suspension tuning.
