I didn't see a Twin today...
20 km through downtown Toronto traffic, not a single FR-S, BRZ or 86! How is my '13 FR-S so rare?

They're not that common around my area, either, and I live in Los Angeles. Further inland, maybe, but not as common around the beach areas. Too cheap, lol? In my area, Teslas seem to be as common as Prius's - they're everywhere. I can go for a few days without seeing another twin.

I commute to LA everyday and I saw 4 on my drive home today. They're everywhere...at least around where I am.

Go to Scarb and you’ll see 10 in a short drive. I drive from the west end of toronto to about middle and I see at least 5-10 a day

Drive two hours south down around my area and you can go weeks or even months without seeing another one. When I do see one in the 401 I figure it is either coming or going to TO or KW. Usually tripping over the damn things in those areas.

I rarely saw them in Brantford/Hamilton/Ancaster. I usually see at least one a day now, sometimes more. Still rare in these parts.

Once every other month since owning I'll see them. Almost always BRZs, maybe two 86s, No FRS'. I did see a BRZ with an exhaust today, gave a thumbs up as we passed each other when we finally hit traffic. Most other ft86 drivers are super enthused to see another one around because they're so rare up here.

We saw 3 in the last 2 days. That makes 6 so far in Idaho.
Edit: and it seems every time I see one I'm in a truck. Last edited by Sapphireho; 09-01-2019 at 12:16 AM. |

Went from 3 to ~10 in my little patch of Cleveland in the past year. First there was a leased FR-S and a silver BRZ with some mods, then I added my black 86 on (Big thanks to the delivery driver who took a blind left while distracted), and then a bunch of FR-Ss and BRZs started popping up after 2019's annual Winter Crash Spike where a small number of drivers with limited skill and/or poorly maintained cars tend to induce a large number of temp tags showing up over a few months. I often drive to work with a buddy, and would have to actively avoid my street to not see one daily.
Snow belt sports car markets are crazy. Great deals in February, then everything is overpriced in July. My SO is really looking forward to her chance to buy one this winter. |

Up in the Bay Area, I see at LEAST 1 or 2 on my 30 mile commute.
Driving around a plaza near me I saw 3 white FRS/BRZ's going in and out of a single parking lot entrance. It's almost like there's an impromptu 86 meet going on within a 10 mile radius around me LOL!! |
