new springs install help

Anyone free this weekend that might be able to help me out putting my new springs on? I have no tools or a garage and funds are low so I can't afford to have my work install them. I've had them going on three weeks now and can't seem to get them installed.

I was in the same boat (no proper tools) and had our resident mechanic in Surprise @AZFA20 do the install. I won't quote his price on here, but the install and full alignment was quite reasonable.
Even if you can get help on the install, you'll want to get an alignment sooner than later to save your tires. Best to make sure you have $100 to spare before installing.

yea I have an offer from a friend for free but we couldn't get the strut nut loose on any of the struts to take the springs off and no one in town carries the special socket. If I had that or a impact gun I would be all good

couple suggestions…

- If you haven't already done so, check out the diy threads describing the process http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32414

- Harbor Freight and Lowes sell the pass-through socket set and hex keys for undoing the strut nut. According to their locator, there are 3 HF Stores in Arizona. $19.99 @ HF

- don't use an impact gun to loosen the strut nut! You could damage the strut.

- last, be safe. I'm a little concerned for your safety.
