Hahaha, I forgot about this thread, and this site. I sold that car two months ago. Never did get that stupid adhesive off.

i've got a spare trunk i'm going to make an attempt at weld-plugging the oem spoiler holes... the local eastwood store manager was convincing me it was the best way and didn't take that much skill. he just hasn't seen me with a welder!

If I were you, I'd sell that trunk and get one for the FR-S. I can confirm after removing the spoiler that there were no holes in it.

i watched ebay for 2 years. the one with the holes was cheaper than any decent condition hole-less lid.

and i get to try to use a welder!
