Dan37BRZ's '15 SUPERCHARGED WRB BRZ
What's up FT86, I'm Dan and this is a build chronicle for my 2015 Subaru BRZ Limited in WRB.
The BRZ is my latest acquisition which I purchased a few days after the new year, I considered it a late Christmas present to myself. I want to say HUGE thanks to my dad for letting me use his garage for all my modding needs, plus letting me store all my tools there and any leftover junk. He even told me I can install a lift there if I wanted, what a great dad! On with the build.. The day I picked her up. First mod was a Perrin 2.5" cat-back exhaust system. My little one digging the WRB color... Next up, some USDM Tom's tails. Much better in my opinion from the stock tails... Last edited by Dan37BRZ; 11-08-2017 at 12:59 AM. |

New OEM Subaru bumpers purchased and installed, had some rock chips in the front plus the dealer drilled the bumper for the front plates. Had some imperfections in the rear bumper as well so I went ahead and got the rear too. Sometimes wished I wasn't so OCPD...:\
Shop that painted them did a great job, color matched better than factory! For suspension, I wanted a system that I could install, set it and forget it. I always loved and trusted Bilstein, have them on my Tundra as well as a few other cars so that's what I went for. B14 PSS coilovers was exactly what I wanted. Ordered these from THMotorsports, super fast service! Fitment was perfect, installed it along with some SBC camber bolts. I've been installing my own suspension for years and I have to say the BRZ/FR-S has got to be hands down one of the easiest installations ever. If I wasn't so set on getting every bolt torqued to manufacturer specs, I think I could've had it knocked out in a couple hours tops. Time for some shoes...called a few places to get a quote on some Enkei NT03+M in 18x9.5 +40 5x100 with the awesome SBC finish. They all said they were discontinued. Contacted vendor B2autodesigns and he had a set to ship!!! He hooked it up, super fast shipping as well.. Loaded up and ready to hit the tire shop. I'm in love with this beautiful finish. Arrived at American Tire to get Super Sports mounted, I LOVE me some MPSS and I run them in all my cars if the size is available. 245/35/18. Note: The Bilstein B14 Coilovers with 18x9.5 +40 will barely clear with 245/35/18 tires, I mean really close..about 3mm. If you wanted to run aggressive camber with the bolts, It might rub. Right now my camber isn't too aggressive and I have a little bit of poke in the front and nothing is rubbing. Last edited by Dan37BRZ; 10-17-2017 at 11:15 AM. |

Did your bumpers come painted from Subaru? If so, where/how did you order??? Trying to get rid of my rock chips too.

Yeah that's what I thought. Everywhere only sells the unfinished plastic. How's the color match? Happy with it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah I'm actually very happy with the match, in direct sunlight it's pretty spot on. In the shade if you look at it at some angles, it looks a tiny bit darker but I'd say the match is better than the OEM ones which I found to be lighter than the rest of the car.
