Bigger is always better for turbos in regards to exhaust. If you keep it at 350rwhp or less id say 2.5 is fine. Any more power than that, id go 3".

ECUtek should be able to do full e boost control with a solenoid upgrade so you could have a 5 and 10 psi map, one on 93 one on e85 for example

This is exactly what I was thinking.

At first they did 248WHP/223TQ with JAPAN GAS and they got 230WHP/198TQ with the 91-92 US GAS.

Now with the add of the overpipe, the front pipe and 6.5PSI they did 279WHP/254TQ in Japan so we should see about 255-258 WHP/220-225TQ with the US gas.

This is exactly what I was waiting for. I want 300-315 crank HP to retain and be at the limit of the stock fuel system and also the clutch.

Thanks Avo !

Keep up the good works!

Dunno my all Subaru's always are extremely obnoxious on cold start... from completely stock my old stock one, to the built rotated setup I ran...

What I meant to say in it (and I'll go back and edit it), is that we are working on the stage 2 kits. Stage 2 kits will be Stage 1 kit, plus the AVO crossover pipe and catted front pipe. Stage 2 (at this time) will still be on stock fueling.

So basically, once you lift the restriction in the exhaust (the standard piping/cat), this is where we are getting with the power on stock fueling.
You guys will have my money once I get my car (don't know when, they say 4 to 7 months)

But I have 1 request can you please post noise levels for stage 1 (and 2 if you guys done with it)

cops here don't like noise

Using stock exhaust and intake system, your car will be virtually as quiet as stock.

Re: Stage 2 exhast components

I was wondering what the diameter is on the dump pipe (crossover pipe?), and is it bell shaped? And what was the diameter of the high flow cat/front pipe you're using?

I was ultimately planning on going for 3" dump pipe and high flow front pip, with a tapered 3->2.5" non resonated ofc midpipe to hook up to my 2.5" axleback for sound supression.

I'm so excited for this kit, I really wish i had the money to pull the trigger on it sooner .

So basically if you already have the header back exhaust and buy the Stage 1 kit all you would need is a new tune to go up to 6.5psi to be at the Stage 2 power numbers? Just trying to clarify, i don't know why you would need a boost controller isn't Ecutek capable of this on its own?

Depends on if you get 93 or not. We have an abundance of 93 here in the Northeast
