W221 S550 2 step correction

Hi all, my name is Mike, and this is my first write up here, so go easy on me guys, lol. The car seen here is a 2008 Mercedes S550 in Iridium Silver, the car was extremely difficult to capture defects on because of the color, but I did capture major defects here and there, so sit back and enjoy!

Condition of the rims:

eh, it's a little dirty

Letting the wheel cleaner do its thing before I scrub:

Ewwwwwww, that's pretty nasty lol

Can't forget about the little "details":

Natural boar's hair brush was used so it doesn't damage the finish of the wheel

All cleaner and looking much better!

Just giving it a bath here:

Cleaning every cracks and crevices while the foam dwelled:

Since this car was going to receive opti coat, iron deposit removal was included:

A little scratch on the underside of the side view mirror here:

Gone!

The poor pillars needed some polishing too:

All polished!

Another scratch on the fender:

Wet sanded @ 2500 grit and polished:

Corrected the taillights as well:

Giving it another bath to rid of polishing dust and oil:

Gotta clean up after my own mess you know:

Bet you didn't know silver cars CAN have reflects like this:

This was a very gruesome detail, I started at 7am and wrapped everything up at 10pm. The wash alone took over 3 hours to get it done right, but the end result was good. There are some spots on the car that requires a bit more wet sanding so I'd have to go back and redo a couple of sections.
