Whats your feeling about what fuel cut off and what to set it at?
Seems the community is mixed. Toan of pTuning says hes done hundreds of dyno pulls out to 8k with no ill effects and he recommended to me to rev my car out that high to maximize power band on the 3076. Both Delicious Tuning and Jamesm don't recommend it other than extending 2nd gear. CSG doesn't recommend it.

I have seen plenty of FI dyno graphs here with people running to 8k. Is it safe? Unkown. So far it seems alright.

In the end it is your motor and if I had your setup and the torque curve stayed flat or kept increasing past 7400 rpm then I would probably choose to run up to 8k rpms to take advantage of that at the risk of more wear and tear.

While I'm still Na I have 4 maps that do different things. Maps 1 and 2 keep the stock redline fuel cut.

maps 3 and 4 keep the same redline however it does not cut fuel. It just stays at redline until I shift it.

3.91 wont be that noticeable , and i am doing a longer fd in one week

Well that's the thing, Bill says his tune is safe and tested. I have heard that from others and well, kind of echos that in this thread but... Clearly varying opinions.

Thats my feeling, the tune maybe safe but that does not mean mechanically long term it will hold up.

I requested the redline be dropped to 7500. Never had an issue before shifting below 7K, but this tuning ramps up so fast at high RPM I cant catch it and autox is even worse.

Do people realize that dyno pulls and racing are 2 different things?

Show me somebody who is racing, regularly and revs it to 8K and let's see how long their engine will last.

Have you guys looked at the rocker arm design of our motors?

I'm surprised they last to 7400...

Well it is known that rocker arms are the weak link other than rods ! A few motors already blew from this issue, but most were revving over 8grand. My mechanic buddy already has a built set of heads/cams in his frs who was with me on the dyno and kept insisting to not over rev !

I've done calculations and for my needs it's enough with the right tire size. I think the 3.73 would be too much. Still trying to make the decision though.

A local tuner pushing 500WHP floated a valve at 8K. He replaced the valves with Kelford ones and no more issues.

Ah ok, since my car is mostly a street car i hate doing a high boost pull with the current gearing. I just end up mashing gears and be in the top of 5th in no time.

Regarding values i remember being told the stockers are so soft @DesertFrs knows more about it
