The chirping and tapping will return BTW. Not sure about the power, do you still think that the red one is down on power compared to the 10 series you just brought home?

The new car feel stronger ... and the suspension feel stiffer, weird because I know they are the same ... right?

btw: the dealership has now told all salesmen that only supreme gas in fr-s for now on.

Change your profile you now drive 10 Series! I was lurking on these posts hoping you would go with the 10 Series. I think those added features are great. If only I had been able to talk my wife into it. She couldn't get over the silver color. I think it looks as good as any of the other colors.

Yeah, I check mine regularly, but, not sure on their frequency.

Exactly why I love fall for driving. I love how our cars feel during the shoulder seasons.

Gas has nothing to do with it. Make sure you have that 72-hour deal on the 10 in case you have chirps, taps and low power, just like every other FR-S.

I disagree with this. They put 86 octane on a car that requires 93 (with 91 acceptable), I wouldn't risk a new car on such negligence by the dealer.

Good choice OP, congrats.

Obviously I'm late here but for future reference everyone you can point people here if they're having trouble deciding:

Congrats, I'm enjoying mine and I was worried I'd not like the color as well. No more worries, despite me thinking Silver is a boring color Silver Ignition is actually awesome.

The interesting part of all this:

The dealership indicated that low octane gas may void the warranty?!? I have never heard of this before.

And Yes, I have another 72 hour money back warranty, but this car is not showing any signs of issue ... yet ... but just turned 40 miles.

Congrats, glad to hear the dealer was willing to work with you. Years down the road your going to be glad you have one of the few limited edition series. Can't beleive dealers neglect their product trying to save a dollar, that's just terrible business. Welcome to the club
