Touch Up Paint Required - It was bound to happen :( - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

So I don't know how or when this happened, but the paint on my 86 has been chipped and I need to fix it asap. It's much smaller than it looks.

Whats the best way to get this fixed? Toyota said they don't have touch up paint

They should be able to order it like they did mine. And it looks like there's a dent?

I bought/ordered touch up paint from my dealer today. They didn't have the Whiteout (37J) for my car in stock, but they said they'll ship to me in about 3 weeks. They did have the top clear coat for me though. They each cost about $13, but they gave me 40% off.

It's worth noting these are a pearl/layered paint. Touchups will be interesting.

Guys,this is the Australian thread.......what you can get in the States doesn't help much....
Toyota Australia do not do touch up paint.
Search touch up paint on the web-I found[but did not use] a company in Concord that does it,and they had Velocity Orange[same colour as mine] available[code H8R]

Bummer, yeah looks dented too.

Pop it out now, b4 it hardens,(take bumper off) if your not getting a pro to fix it.

Looking at it,it needs more than touch up paint.
There'e a guy over at Moorebank who's truly excellent at this sort of repair.
Did under the front bar on my car about a week ago where it scraped on a high kerb in a car park.
Looks absolutely factory again.
You'll have to take it to him, but I hung around [went for a long walk] and it was finished in under two hours.
Call James on 0412 973 616-tell him I gave you his details.{He should remember a Velocity Orange 86GT....}
Can't recommend him highly enough.

He's a heck of a lot cheaper than a panel beater....
It was under $200 and fixed on the spot.

I need to go and see my guy for a fixup where I kerbed my nose. So damn low! Going to buy a replacement bumper, get this touched then put a lip on it.

Think I'm weird buying a replacement bumper? I plan on having this car a long, long time...
