I hate it when I don't have the math and physics base needed to figure out the more interesting aspect of car tuning.

Or the facilities to experiment.

(regressive curve shocks, anyone?)

Or simply stop trying and just let your brain do its thing. I don't know how many times I've sat puzzling endlessly at my desk over some problem, then I semi give up, go to refill my coffee mug, and before I'm even half way to the coffee machine it dawns on me. D'oh!

Sooo... why don't I do that sooner?

I remember driving back from Socal in extremely heavy rain one time, everyone was zooming along at 60mph even though you could barely see 50 feet ahead...f***ing crazy socal drivers.

Okay on the other hand, last week when I drove at night there was heavy fog such that the visibility was like 15 feet, and everyone else thought it was a great idea to go 60mph as well.

Am I the only who notices the most wreckless drivers happen to be in a Prius? I got cut off not by one but two Prius drivers today.

Yup, they use the efficiency of their car to feel less bad about going faster because they figure, well if I go 85mph and slam on the brakes like a maniac, I still get 30something mpg, not too bad.

Plus their regenerative brakes will charge their battery(s) as they slow down from high speeds...

Awwww Giccin you so do not deserve that! Lemme tell you an opposite story to give you some hope that there are nice people in socal So some years ago I was driving from Phoenix back to the Bay Area. Now I'm a real pro at getting lost, and when I was going along the 10 westwards trying to figure out how to hit the 5, I thought I missed my turn so I decided to stop for gas and directions. I'll admit I was a little nervous because of all the hate stories coming out of LA. But next thing I knew, the girl working at the gas station AND about a half dozen locals who happened to be in the store were all bending over backwards trying to help me. It was like they were competing to see who could be the nicest!

And just to stay on topic - I hate it when socal drivers are mean to Giccin

for me it's taxi-drivers and people with very....how to put this politely....big rims, blasting rap music, being very selfish. (this might sound racist, but it's not intended to) primarily black people driving like they don't have licenses, like the real world is is GTA or some shit.

I don't think I've ever met such nice people in LA. :O

I don't mind them, I always get a good laugh when I see 23 inch rims on a sedan lifted well over a foot off the ground that has trouble navigating turns at normal speeds.
