Quick question about installing electronic boost controller

I have a Tactrix boost controller (looks like this, and is the same as the prodrive and HOA models)

I bought the EBCS used, so it did not come with the wiring harness or instructions for install. I believe I have sorted out the wiring harness issues, now but I need a quick bit of help from you guys...

This EBCS plugs into the OEM wiring harness via where the EVAP control solenoid would plug in... but I just want to confirm where that is

Could anyone post a picture of a accurate descriotion of where I would plug this EBCS into the OEM harness? That is all I need help with and would really appreciate it!

Thanks!

And yes, I have quite a bit. Went through at least 30 of the threads google pointed me to when I directly searched the forum, no luck yet. The answer is out there, probably just buried too deep. I understand the vacuum hose connections, that is no problem.

So you have to remove the manifold to get to this?

No, you can reach behind the driver side manifold underneath the intake runner for cylinder 4 and you should be able to find it tucked there somewhere. It's a teal colored connector I believe.

It's also only 3 bolts to take the A/C compressor off and get more room to work back there. Don't remove any of the lines, just the compressor and move it off to the side. takes like 3 minutes.

Hello!

Can you guys help me out on my EBC valve situation?

I dont know what valve should I buy and install... what you recommend?

Its should be easy to install to OEM harness but still good!

I have AVO turbo with 8psi wastegate and 3" catted exhaust . Tuned by ECUTEK

I went with the Plex Boost controller. Probably one of the best controllers on the market. And it can also do a ton of the work that gauges do. Unless you are trying to use Ecutek any EBC will do the job. We don't have to worry about Ecutek since all the Australian Ecutek Tuners basically have down syndrome. Hence why it is known as EcuWreck here. Our better tuners run heavily modified versions of BRZEdit.

Look for Subaru Grimmspeed EBCS, any of the models they sell for Subaru's works.

Would this be good for my setup?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PERRIN-EBCS-...0AAOSwpDdVCtpq

That Grimspeed EBCS is difficult to get here so that why I looked this Perrin EBCS. I should get that here pretty fast and decent price.

Is this Perrin solenoid connected to charcoal canister valve harness just with that connector and the canister connector is left loose?

My tuner will make boost control via Ecutek for me.

Hey quick question, my EBCS harness is cut right before the plug that would fit into the OEM harness on the evap/charcoal unit. How should I splice this into the OEM harness, does it matter which wire goes to which? (two wires from EBCS, two wires from OEM harness)

Thank you in advance

I think the only unintended consequence would be that the EBCS will open/close inverse to what the tune wants it to do. I'd try to find a way to look at one harness that is complete (not cut) to see which side is correct.

Now, couldn't you order just the harness from tactrix or Grimmspeed? Your OEM EVAP connector is fine correct? What is broken is the EBCS harness?
